Daylight & Artificial Lighting

Architect: Ortner & Ortner, Chapman Taylor
Completion year: 2008

The ground floor and the upper floors of the mall are flooded with daylight and the basic lighting in this area is reduced to the essential. The basement is a world of artificial light, which connects to the upper floors via two atriums. Large luminous ceilings and light coves characterize the curved corridor. Brilliant points of light are set by high intensity discharge lamps.
