The Event & Conference Centre is situated at the at the Guangyang Island which is a land bridge island. Dominated by subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forests in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. The main objective is to maintain a sustainable lighting concept to reduce light pollution to a minimum, providing visitors an unobstructed and pure environment and night sky.

The lighting concept features low glare light fixtures and glare controlled mounting details. Through the hierarchical design of the lighting, the visitors can feel the mutual radiance and tolerance of the building and the hills, as well as the “sequence of flowing water” form of the building. The lighting moved upward from a low level, leading the guest to raise their sights slowly, and continue to higher level as they stepped forward.

The Tiffany House is a mixed-use development made up of residential units and retail at podium level. The architecture of the façade is inspired by jewellery boxes where the opening drawers invoke a certain curiosity to have a look inside. The lighting element at the façade acts as a frame and just like with a gift, wraps around the façade like a ribbon.
The interior lighting further complements the interior space by the fixture type having been chosen according to the use of the space. Lichtvision’s scope of work features all interior public areas including residential club house, luxury amenities and retail as well as lush, landscaped terraces on top of the retail podium.

The Humboldt Forum in Berlin is regarded as Germany’s most significant cultural construction project in the coming decades. With the collection of the “Staatliche Museen zu Berlin” (SMB) moving from Berlin-Dahlem, the building’s main part will function as a museum. The lighting design for museums, particularly the daylight illumination in this historical context, has been adapted to meet today’s strict conservation requirements and structural demands. This involved extensive studies on glazing, solar arrangements, and glare protection systems. The art is primarily staged through lighting emitters that ensure minimal energy entry, aligning with modern conservation standards.

The complex’s architectural concept is based on water images: waves, icicles, chopped icebergs, all this is a reminder of the shores of the Baltic. Inspired by the water crystallization process and how ice celebrates light by creating playful effects within its structure, our lighting concept corresponds to the extensive use of glass material throughout the architecture of the Lakhta Center. A holistic lighting approach has been applied by mapping the overall concept and then reducing it to individual elements. Thus, tower, multifunctional complex, entrance arch, podium and landscape area will all narrate one complete story. The volume of the tower is defined by different light intensity tones via combining two main lighting components: frame lighting of interior and edge continuous linear lighting of exterior.

The lighting concept enables the development of different lighting scenes, like every-day scene, mode for evening winter time, special event mode or festival scene, night time scene and others. A special part of the tower lighting was developing detailed concept of aircraft obstruction lights and “bird friendly” lighting and their integration into overall concept.

The new Wuyuanhe Stadium is situated at the southern island of Hainan, China. The building provides seats for more than 41,000 visitors and was developed on an extremely fast project schedule with a construction time of 15 month only. The iconic building was designed to blend into the surrounding architectural, cultural and costal landscape of Hainan. The architectural lighting provides a key role of the building’s success, enhancing visually the flowy and dynamic as well as the solid structures. Light contributes to subconscious wayfinding tasks for spectators and allows communication with the city via a low-resolution media component.
