Lichtvision was responsible for the artificial lighting design of Clifton Hill in London, United Kingdom, completed in 2026 with Studio Stassano.
Clifton Hill is a semi-detached Victorian house in North West London. The project is a full refurbishment of a five-storey house, with a new basement and a rear extension for a cinema room, pool, spa and gym.
The key concept was to separate two areas. In the basement, contemporary mood lighting serves the entertainment zones, with colour change and a DMX disco feature. The upper floors stay traditional, and light enhances the historic elements, such as ceilings and windows.
Skylights are an important part of the building, and light strengthens their presence during the dark hours. The landscape scope covers functional, enhanced lighting to the entrance, kept low key for the surrounding area.
