Our role can span the entire lighting design process — from the first architectural idea to detailed design, specification and commissioning. Depending on the project, we combine creative design, technical engineering and digital tools into one integrated approach.

Technical capabilities
At Lichtvision, a team of designers and engineers crafts lighting solutions precisely tailored to specific requirements. Our services range from architectural daylight and artificial lighting design to visual media applications, as well as facade and landscape installations, including appropriate lighting control systems. Our design process is supported by cutting-edge simulation tools and the latest AI applications — each concept created as a unique work by people for people, in close dialogue with our clients and partners.
Daylight is extremely important in terms of well-being and ecological sustainability. Efficient daylight solutions create a link to the outside and provide the interior with a balanced supply of light and energy. They are not based on purely technical components, but primarily follow architectural principles.
The core of our concepts is inspired by the architectural narrative. Once we have internalised this, we develop a coherent lighting language with our partners — from minimal and sensual to expressive and powerful, shaping mood and perception.
The miniaturisation and digitalisation of light makes it possible to playfully combine the facade with communication. The architecture becomes part of the staging and thus the unique canvas of the installation. Giving this ensemble a nocturnal identity and individuality is the talent of visual media solutions.
Performance and reliability for connected lighting and building IoT. Our sister company Lichtvision Engineering has been developing lighting control products since 1997 and helps drive the specification of lighting controls in the global standardisation community.
Beyond design
Our design studio brings designers and engineers together to develop custom luminaires and controls products — balancing aesthetics, function and cradle-to-cradle thinking. Alongside it, our sister company Lichtvision Engineering are The DALI Experts. Since 1997. Serving the mission that lighting networks are designed, commissioned and operated easily and hassle-free.
